Apex Realm-(Wisdom Jamz)

Apex
i'm new to underground hip-hop music. the most that people ever get of hip-hop has to do with booty, beer and bling. maybe even a retarded dance. but this is different.

We are now a Christian band.

Last month our good friend Wesley from Remain In Vain landed us a show with them at their affluent private Christian school. Apparently a member of the band had to have been Christian for us to play there. Thus, we are now a Christian band and will be playing Christian ballads, that is, until May 21, 2011 on the Apocalypse. In the meantime, check out pictures and video from the show!

Christian bands deserve technologically superior Christian stages to play Christian songs on.

It might have looked like no one was watching us, but there were 3 people there.

Peter

In Chula Vista we have the privilege of being friends with some incredibly talented yet incredibly unmotivated individuals. Today I will share the exploits of one such individual.

Geekpunk

Blue Train

Two different songs sharing the same name. Good evening, world. See you in the morning.

Our first show-12/27/2011

We hopped on this show one night, which happened in Mason's Grimy Lair (aka a roomy shed in his backyard). I forgot who else was on the bill- I just remember Deadlined and LOL Stare belting out da mad jamz. This was the first show we played as a full band (just one more member: Manuel haha), as we played at the Park Gallery with just Aaron and me a few weeks before, but I digress. Check it out for yourself.

Rock For Japan's Relief

Our good friend Rie from Japan has put together a compilation to benefit the victims of the earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan earlier this year. The compilation will be on both CD and digital formats, and features bands from all over the world, including DOOM, Outspoken, Death Crisis, Naked Aggression, Vitamin X, Everybody's Enemy, Rie's own band DAMMIT HONEY, as well as San Diego bands Anthrot, Common Enemy, and Raineir and Aaron's band Tantive-IV (on the digital version).

This is Rie's statement on the RFJR website:

A CD compilation for the relief funds of the victims of the 3/11 Earthquake and Tsunami in Japan

We gathered over 40 punk, rock and hardcore bands from all over the world to collect money to help the victims of the recent disaster in japan.
Please give some money for charity in exchange for this CD or Digital download.
日本を襲った地震、津波の被害にあわれた方への義援金を募るため、各国のパンク、ロック、ハードコアシーンで活躍する40以上ものバンドが集結。
