Apex Realm-(Wisdom Jamz)

i'm new to underground hip-hop music. the most that people ever get of hip-hop has to do with booty, beer and bling. maybe even a retarded dance. but this is different.

Apex Realm is a new group coming out of our own Chula Vista, CA, and features three distinct sounding emcees spitting lyrics that are a breath of fresh air at a time when it seems that all there is to talk about is the misery that the prime time news program shoves down our throats and what Lady Gaga wore during that awards ceremony. Apex Realm delves into the philosophic, the esoteric, the transcendental, the ethereal. i could tell they do their homework, as some references sound like they came straight out of Plato's The Republic or the Bhagavad-Gita. their rhymes flow smoothly like water down a river, and they have this ability to communicate the profound through their simple poetry.

i've read somewhere that the poets take what the philosophers teach and transfer it to the minds of the laypeople. Apex Realm does just that.
Chapter 1 of the Tao Teh Ching states, "The Eternal Tao cannot be learned by word."
but Apex Realm will do for now.
