We have a new facebook page
We played a good amount of shows since we changed the band name, and felt it was fitting to make a new facebook page. For those of you that haven't been living under a rock for the past decade and have a facebook, come like the new page here.
Nevertheless, we will still use the old facebook page until people get the hint about our interchangeable band names.
You get it, you get it.

"The Dave Sessions" (live) recordings are up!
The band went into the Time Warner Cable studios quite a while ago to record some tunes for a show called "Yourself Presents." This is how we sounded, awkward mess ups and all. Up the punx. Chris Hopkins of Earthbound Recording helped out with the sound engineering; thanks Chris! Download the release and get pictures of the sessions courtesy of David Frazier.

Linkletter: New Name, New Bass, Same Great Taste
We changed our name. No more KiDS Say, and from this day forth we shall be known as Linkletter! We gladly and thankfully welcome Rick to the band, on the bass guitar. He plays hockey and drinks black coffee. He's a good friend of ours and we're still going to do what we do best, with less of the mess. Maybe more, depending on how much coffee we drink.
Rick getting hai. 4/20.
We also recorded a new song. Listen at your own risk. Thanks.

Dutch Blog PLANET TRASH reviews (Sherman Drive, 3:37 PM)
PLANET TRASH, an online blog from the Netherlands reviewed (Sherman Drive, 3:37 PM). This is what they had to say:
translated into English using handy-dandy google translate, this is what it says:
The trio may have chosen a silly name for their band, the music is not. Freshpunkpop with some emo influences, but above all the sharp edges of melody without losing. Four songs is just enough, because it all sounds not veryoriginal. Three boys in a seemingly boring American suburb trying to containthe outside world and just like everyone reluctantly feel that they should be partof society. The band is able to provide sufficient variety to any of the quartetnumbers to the toe to channel fear. Kids Say The Darndest Things reminiscent of what Dag Nasty in the past did so well. That seems a good starting point for a band, though the band still lacks sufficient grimy guitars. (Sherman Drive, 3:37 PM) was released in an edition of 150 pieces and available at band camp of Kids Say The Darndest Things.

Saturday, March 3-Rest In Peace Johnny
On February 18, we found out that our good friend Johnny Kordylas passed away in a fatal car accident in nearby Paradise Hills. He was a good guy, and one of the first kids we met in our neighborhood of Sunbow along with his older brother Joseph. He is survived by his father Wade and Joseph.
A show is being held this Saturday to help the family to cover costs. All proceeds will go towards the Kordylas family and costs for the venue. We hope to see you there to celebrate his memory, and even if you didn't know him, maybe you can come by to hang out or lend support. It should be a great time with different styles of music--everyone is welcome! Thanks

GNOOZ: Tour recap, (Sherman Drive, 3:37 PM), etc.
Salutations, seekers of knowledge.
Back from a great weekend of shows with our friends in Aukerman, we're ever-ready to move forward with whatever's next on the to-do list. The shows were excellent, the chile relleno burritos were nice and hot, and we made some great friends in Pomona and Ventura. Much thanks to Nick Townshend for filling in on drums while Aaron he wiped old people's asses. We are forever grateful.
We sold a couple of these over the weekend:
If you can't make it to the next show, order one online here
Better yet, give it a listen now.

(Sherman Drive, 3:37 PM) is up for jammage.
BIG WET HALL. We came from mixing the new ep entitled "(Sherman Drive, 3:37 PM)" with our buddy Alex Jacobelli at the House of Wonders in Escondido, CA. We've matured since our last release...three-minute songs, tons of reverb...rockin solos, oooof. That's what a semester taking Existentialism does to someone. Don't do it!
We'll have tangible copies up for sale soon but in the meantime, give it a listen. Thanks.

Happy New Year, You Sick Fools!
To one and all, happy new year from the KiDS. It's been great, and we're looking forward to more nonsense. Last night we had the pleasure of gracing the stage at VLHS in Pomona along with the dudes in Rad Company (OH), Discretions (TX), Hands Like Bricks, and Horror Squad. Fun was had. Jorge Chiu was kind enough to take pictures, which we'll post up soon. Here's a video of our set:
Thanks to everyone for making it possible.
We have a show on January 6 in Santee to kick things off for this new year, and on January 9 in El Cajon. You can peep the details here. Thankyu.
